A decade of digital transformation in one year

Digital transformation accelerated its pathway in 2020. Online learning, teleworking, track and trace apps, digital monitoring, online delivery, etc., went from “early-to-come” to crucial needs in a matter of weeks as the pandemic reached the whole world. Today, the evolution of leading-edge technologies opens up a wide range of possibilities in urban management. From mobile apps to big data analytics, from robotics to artificial intelligence, several solutions have been put into practice to speed up new sets of tools for cities, daily life, workplaces,... This acceleration has fostered digital adoption and transformation, speeding-up a process we still need to make sense of it to understand how to make it serve for people. The session is aimed at exploring different solutions put in place and see how these technologies be leveraged to improve our urban environments.
