Opening Plenary: Emerging housing challenges and solutions in Catalonia and Spain

Catalonia and Spain have less than 2% of public, social and affordable housing, which leaves public authorities with very limited tools to respond to the current housing affordability crisis. ISHF 2023 Opening Plenary will feature representatives from the public administrations responsible for housing in Barcelona, Catalonia, Valencian Community and Spain to discuss what are the main challenges in guaranteeing the universal right to adequate housing and some of the solutions being tested to overcome them.
