Sr. Antonio Balmón Arévalo

Born on 3rd January 1960, he’s lived in Cornellà since 1962. In 1981 he joined the Socialist Party of Catalonia, of which he’s been a member of the National Council since 1994. He’s currently the secretary of Institutional Action. In 1987 he became a councillor on the Cornellà City Council and he assumed the mayorship in 2004. Heading the socialist candidature, he’s been re-elected mayor in the last four municipal elections. Since 2011 he’s also been the Executive Vice-President of the AMB.
