PhD in Astrophysics from the UCM and postdoc at the Univ. of California, Florida and IAC. “Ramón y Cajal” contract at CEFCA and Project Manager of the Javalambre Astrophysical Observatory. More than 250 scientific publications with more than 7000 citations. PI of AEI/MICIU projects, referee in international scientific journals and ANEP evaluator. Spanish representative on the Scientific and Technical Committee of the European Southern Observatory. Director of CEFCA since 2016.
