Sergio Llorente holds a PhD in Engineering from BSH Electrodomésticos España. He has led more than 50 innovation projects, including the Hipatia public-private collaboration project with the University of Zaragoza, which is the largest project in Spain in this category. He has participated as an inventor in more than 300 patents and over 70 scientific articles. In 2016, he was named Inventor of the Year within the Bosch Group for his work on flexible induction hobs.
