Dr. Ilan Spillinger

Ilan Spillinger is EVP and CTO of imec. In his previous role of VP at Microsoft, he was leader of the HoloLens Hardware and the Custom Silicon organization. Before joining Microsoft in 2007, he was Distinguished Engineer and VP Advanced Processor Design at IBM Yorktown where he was responsible for the development of all power architecture-based processors. Before joining IBM in 2001, he was at Intel and lead the CPU architecture of the first Centrino CPU. He holds a PhD from the Technion Israel.
