Marta Torres Martínez has a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Jaén (2002); She obtained research proficiency in 2004 and achieved the degree of doctor with mention of European doctorate and maximum qualification in 2009. In addition, she has completed the Master in Dictionary Development and Lexicon Quality Control from the UNED and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2014 ).
His research focuses on the history of lexicon, especially in the culinary field.
