Bio
Dr Naval Architect & Marine Engineer, he started working in motors for High-Speed Trains. In 1989 he developed the first Spanish superconducting magnet for the LHC and after he funds at CEDEX the Superconductivity Group. In 2008 he joined CIEMAT where he is responsible for the Electrical Engineering Division. He has been lecturer in Electrical Machines at ICAI. Author of more than 100 publications. In 2019 he co-funds the company CYCLOMED in the framework of the Mind the Gap program.
