Astrophysicist, born in Málaga, Spain, and currently serving as a Research Professor at IAA-CSIC. One of his noteworthy achievements is the establishment of the Global BOOTES Network of Robotic Telescopes, completed in 2022, nurtured over 25 years of intensive effort, which originated with his vision of the project. This milestone marked Spain as the first country to deploy a global network of robotic telescopes. Co-founder of Málaga Planetarium, which will become the largest one in the EU.
