Professor at the University of Córdoba, in the field of university management, he has held the positions of vice dean and dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the UCO. He has been general coordinator of Transfer and Employability of the Córdoba University and executive president of the University Foundation for the Development of the Province of Córdoba. During the years 2022-2023 he held the position of General Director of Research Planning of the Junta de Andalucía
