Doctora Carolina Londoño Peláez

Carolina is the Executive Director of Ruta N, an entity of the Medellín District, which drives innovation, technology, and tech-based entrepreneurship in the city. She is a biomedical engineer with a specialization in biotechnology, a master's in biochemistry, and a PhD in medical sciences. With over 17 years of experience in science, education, research, and technology, she has contributed to projects in cell therapy, regenerative medicine, and biomaterials. Carolina has also served as a professor, research leader, and quality accreditor, advancing university innovation ecosystems and leading collaborative projects between universities, businesses, and the state.
